Nigel and Lock sat in the a bar, laughing. 'You know, Nigel, it really would be better if you stopped making bets that your bets would be right. Seriously, that doesn't even make sense to say!' They both laughed at, what was, most likely, a quite stupid joke. But it wasn't to them. 'Yeah Lock, like you could do better. You don't even bet. And anyway, I only bet once a month, and on something i'm sure will win.' Lock laughed alone this time, and then composed himself, before taking a swig of his drink. 'You haven't won a cent in the last year.' Nigel scowled, but turned to a smile as he heard glass break. 'you where right, the would strike here next. Even the cops didn't know. Let's take 'em.' Ten men in full black, covering their faces as well, came in, holding a multitude of guns. A total of seven pistols, two bolt action rifles, and an assault rifle. 'hands in the air, and anything of value on the ground, or your dead!' he said, keeping the stereotype robbery. A loud pop came from Nigel's person, and the leader, whom was holding the assault rifle, fell dead, bleeding from the stomach. Nigel smirked, quite evilly, before moving his desert eagle to point at the next man. There was a small click as Lock loaded a clip into the Uzi he had hidden under the table, concealed by the drapes of the tablecloth. 'if you don't want to get shot, get clear. If your one of them' he jerked the gun at the masked men, 'then I'll give you a warning to. Drop any weapons you have, and step back from the line. But try and leave, and I'll open fire.' Said Lock, who now was holding the gun one handed. Three of the pistols wielders dropped the gun and stepped back three paces. One of the rifle wielders dropped his gun, but only managed a step back before the other man with the rifle shot him. The was another loud pop as Nigel shot the offender. Now, with only two pistol-men left, Lock didn't risk a misfire with his Uzi, and told Nigel to shoot them. Half way through the instruction, they to dropped weapons and stepped back. A few minutes later, the police pulled up outside, and walked in miserably, to drag out innocents bodies. They where surprised to find 8 robbers at gunpoint, and 2 dead. No-one else had been touched. They where loaded up into different vehicle, off to the holding cells, to await trail. The commanding officer commended them, and then got quite annoyed about the fact they where carrying weapons in a bar, but left without a argument. The barkeep walked up with a case of money, as thanks. The group of criminals where notorious for burning down a place after robbing it, and the barkeep said it was only a quarter of the funds he would have needed to rebuild. They gratefully accepted, and the barkeep went and made a phone call, calling in someone to fix his window.

Yeah, ok, so that had nothing to do with zombies, I know. It was more to introduce the characters, as well as give a little before it happened info.

Nigel: A slightly evil (in a good way) guy, who sticks by his friends. Smart, but stronger.

Weapon:can use a lot, but prefers semi-automatics, going for pistols and low-medium power rifles.

Lock: A bit more sane than Nigel, Lock still sticks by his friends, but goes for a smarter approach to things, and when it requires strength, it's Nigel's job.

Weapon: prefers fully-automatics, Carries an Uzi, but doesn't mind a few other guns, mainly fully-automatic rifles.
