Okay, so I literally JUST finished reading BoO, and... I'm emotionally unstable at the moment. The only way that I could think of to cope is by writing my alternate ending. Enjoy... :)

Annabeth
It had been three days since the final battle with Gaea and the loss of Leo hadn't yet lost its sting. Over the months since he had arrived to Camp Half Blood Leo became like a little brother to her. And now that he was gone she felt devastated.

Annabeth sat on the beach of Long Island Sound that bordered camp. Waves gently lapped the shore, it calmed her down a little. That sound always reminded her of Percy, the only living descendant of Poseidon. Where was Percy now? Probably teaching a class in the sword fighting arena, or stuffing his face in the Dining Pavilion. The thought made her crack a smile.

A voice broke her from her thoughts, "ANNABETH!" Someone yelled from down the beach. As the figure ran closer she could see that it was her best friend Piper, daughter of Aphrodite. Her choppy brown hair had an orange feather tied in it today (her signature style) and she wore an orange camp T-shirt and jeans. Even though it was a simple outfit Piper still seemed to make it look glamorous.

Annabeth jumped up from the rock she was sitting on and closed the distance between them. "What is it Piper?"

"It's-" She gasped for air, "It's Rachel. She's giving another prophecy!"

Annabeth's eyes widened, "Let's go!"

The two girls ran through camp all the way to the porch of the Big House, a big crowd had already formed around Rachel. Annabeth and Piper shouldered their way through the crowd to the front and stood right in front of Rachel Elizabeth Dare. Her eyes were clamped shut and her face was scrunched up in concentration.

"I - I see a boy." She said, the entire crowd went silent, "And- he's holding a ring." Rachel started to hum a little which confused Annabeth. She had never seen a prophecy delivered like this.

"Annabeth?" Percy's voice said from behind her. It was about time that this boy showed up.

"Shh. I'm trying to listen." She answered him without turning around, she kept her eyes fixed on Rachel who still hadn't said anything.

"But Annabeth-" Percy tried again, but this time Piper cut him off.

"Annabeth, you'd really need to see this." Piper said.

"She heaved a big sigh and reluctantly turned around. What she saw made her heart and stomach leap into her throat. Percy was down on one knee with a box and diamond ring in his hand.

"What do you say Wise Girl?" Percy asked. "Will you be mine forever?"

"It seemed like forever before Annabeth found her voice but of course she said, "Yes."
