It had been a year.
A year since he had left; left everyone, left her.
Now she needed something.
Anything.
Just to fill the hole in her heart because deep inside she knew he was gone and he was never coming back.
"Sakura…I want you to promise me something."
She nodded because she would always do anything for him.
"Promise me that you won't lose yourself when I'm gone."
It sounded easier then it was. Deep down inside she struggled as her reality had come crashing down. She had lost everyone she ever really cared about, her team was gone. Sasuke, Kakashi and most importantly Naruto.
She had never thought he would die, he was strong. So much stronger then she was. How could he have ever expected her to keep that promise?
He had been her best friend so she had to.

"Sakura, I'm sorry."
Brown hair and brown eyes were all she could see in her teary vision. He didn't have to say that.
"For what?" Was all she could manage to croak out.
"For everything."
She knew what he meant. He knew what it was like to lose someone, he knew that she was losing herself and at the moment his arms around her waist was all she could really bare.
"Kiba…."
He silenced her with a kiss on the neck. She didn't have to tell him. He was there and he always would be.
"…Thank you."
She broke down and it was alright because she knew that with him there she would never really lose herself.

Well this uh story (if you can call it that) really originated from the song 'Lose Yourself' by Eminem. It not actually biased on it.
To be honest I had no idea where this story was going, it sorta wrote it's self. So if it confuses you in anyway fell free to ask questions.
