I sat in my car driving, my new red laptop sitting on my lap, hopefully it would not break. I had gotten it as a gift from my father for my first day in forks, and I didn't want to trip and fall and break it, using the normal Bella technique.

Wow, I thought to myself, this place is really green…look at the contrast to my laptop! I really didn't care; I was just bored out of my mind.

Soon later, I found the school and found a parking spot big enough for my new truck (which just happened to match my laptop), and turned off my car. I took in a deep breathe, took the keys out of the ignition, put them in my bag and opened the door.

I got out of my car, securely holding my brand new laptop. I locked the car, but before I could turn around, I felt a hand come down hard on my butt. Embarrassed as I was, I blushed and tried to hide it.

Whoever had done that must really hate me, because that was annoying. Although, as I walked through the parking lot, people were cheering, pointing at me, patting my shoulders, everything. It was just plain weird. I didn't know anyone here, and besides, I never do anything this exciting. What's with all the attention?

This whole charade just passed through homeroom, everyone in class, even the teacher, cheered, patted my shoulder or slapped my butt. And every time, I felt the blood rushing to my cheeks, to give away my embarrassment.

This kept on happening to me when I was holding the stupid red laptop. When I saw edward I was exstatic. He would do something about this.

I ran up to him, keeping me eyes alert but secure on everything around me so I wouldn't trip. But, as i got closer, I saw that almost everyone from the school was behind me. When I got to Edward, he scooped me up and kissed me, which he NEVER did before. When he finished I looked up into his eyes, afraid of what I was going to see. He quickly put me down at Vampire speed, and as soon as i was down, the closest one to me, Mike Newton, slapped my butt.

You would have been terrified seeing Edward's face. It was twisted in agony and pure anger. His emotions were flying, not sure what to do. Then out of no where he slapped Mike's butt, and Mike went flying across the school yard. Everyone heard and watched as Mike flew and landed on top of his car. I tried not to laugh, but a small giggle slipped out, knowing Edward's strength while the rest of the school, not including his siblings, didn't.

He quickly walked me out of the crowd and into his car. He quickly said, "Alice is bringing your car home for you". I just nodded, amazed at how calm he was for doing that. He looked down at me and smiled.

I smiled back, but turned towards the front of the car. I opened my laptop, and as soon as I turned it on, a huge, red dell logo popped up in the front of the car. I screamed, surprisingly louder then I thought I could, and Edwards hand went right over my mouth.

"Don't worry," he said, "I don't need to see through this to get where I'm going". Whatever, I though. Let's just get there soon.
