Hey dudes! I have returned! My first story on this account is a sweet one-shot based off of something important in my life. About my first valentine. Believe it or not, my first Valentine was given to me in 6th grade. And now I'm heading into 7th.

I dedicate this story to Pierce Ashton, a special boy in my life that has been in my class ever since 3rd grade, the year I came to school. :)

He may never read this, but I know you will. I hope you enjoy the true story of my first valentine, starring Alvin and Brittany!

Another Valentine's Day has begun to end at 7 pm on a rainy night in Richmond Hill.

Brittany sat cross-legged on her bed, staring at the blank wall Iin front of her. What was there to do? She had recieved no valentines at all. Of course, this was the norm. Waking up on the day of love, knowing what to expect and then going through a day of pain. Knowing that you are single and unloved.

The worst part of this Valentine's Day?

It was pouring buckets outside.

Brittany continued watching the wall until she began to cry. Every year, she had managed to stay strong throughout the rejection. Finally, she allowed herself to sob.

Love songs blared out of the radio.

The pink-clad Chipette let out a scream, un-crossing her legs and stomping over to her radio. With one quick swipe of a sweaty paw, the radio landed in the garbage bin, faintly playing music. She silently hummed along to the familiar tune. A tune that she knew too well.

Something pink and shiny stuck out of her backpack pocket.

Brittany wiped salty tears from her cheeks as something caught her eye. It was a small piece of cardboard sticking out of her backpack. All she could see on it was pink and white glitter. It interested her; fascinated; intrigued her. That glimpse of cardboard urged her to pluck the item out of the pocket.

A Valentine's Day card glowed at her.

In the 12 year old's paws, there was a 4 by 6 piece of cardboard that had been slipped into her backpack without her being aware of it. It was covered in pink and white glitter. Over top of the sparkles read the words in red Sharpie: Happy Valentine's Day, Brittany Love, Alvin. ; D

Her first Valentine was in her hands.

A shudder of shock and delight escaped her. Finally. The treasure she was waiting for. Something so extremely precious and heartfelt that she'd keep protected until the end of time. Hastily, to ensure that the card was real, she looked it over ten times. And re-read the message. Her giver was Alvin, none other. What? Popular athlete boy? That is quite a surprise. Without any explanation, she breathed out his name and hugged the valentine to her chest, which resulted in glitter spreading all over her Saskatchewan Roughriders hoodie.

Her first valentine.

That moment was truly magical.

Well, I will point out a few changes I made to my true story. When Brittany swipes the radio into the garbage can, I myself broke the radio. Shocking that I'm strong enough to do such things. Also, unlike Brittany, I am a lone country girl who is a nerd, geek, fangirl, daydreamer... but truthfully, Pierce (or in this case, Alvin) gave me the valentine.

And the crazy part? It happened right in 2013.

Hope you enjoyed my one-shot!
