"Tears fell down his face as he watched, Devastation upon devastation, Dark clouds fill the sky as the rain pours, Is all hope lost?" Okay, so this is a poem I wrote, and I would love the feedback.

New Hope

Tears fell down his face as he watched,

Devastation upon devastation,

Dark clouds fill the sky as the rain pours,

Is all hope lost?

No! A red beam of light fills the sky.

A new beginning, a new start,

Gone is the prejudice, the pain, the lies,

A new world awaits us, one with fairness, love, peace,

Will you come with me?

Black hair, haunted emerald eyes, jaded soul,

SoWatching the world, protecting it.

But who will protect him?

Red hair like fire, warm, baby blue eyes,

Chocolate brown hair, wise hazel eyes,

watching the savior, helping him heal,

Helping the world heal.

A new beginning, a new life,

No more pain, no more loss,

New love, new hope.

Ok so I'm new to this site, and would love some constructive criticism. I had to write poems for a project, and I thought, why not write one about Harry Potter, so here I am! Would love the reviews.
