Damien Gray was a concerned father. He knew his daughter could take care of herself, tackle any problem and win. Only sometimes he worried she might be taking too much on herself. She was so young, yet so serious.
That's why he always cherished the moments whenever he heard her laugh. Like right now.
"THAT'S CHEATING!" Dan's loud growling screams were well heard through the house, as well as the howling laughter coming from Valerie.
"Nu-huh! I'm winning, fair and square!" she cackled.
"This iS BULLSHIT!" the ghost was furiously pressing the control buttons, his whole body moving with the motions of the animated car on the screen he was controlling.
"Bullshit? This. Is. MARIO KART!" Valerie shouted triumphantly as a Blue Shell flew at Dan's car.
"AAARGHHHH! I'm DONE!" he threw his hands up and covered his face as Valerie did the winner's dance.
Yes, Damien really liked hearing his girl laugh like this. (But still, just in case kept an anti-ghost bazooka at hand).
