If your ready for a protective Danny, irritated Rusty, and beyond stupid Linus this is a short story for you!!! Super OOC but I couldn't help but write it :
"Ow!" The sharp sound was followed by a low growl. Danny watched through narrowed eyes as Rusty rubbed his cheek; under his calloused palm was a bright red hand print.
"What the hell was that, Linus?" Danny whispered threateningly at the man across from the older blonde. He stalked up to the two men and settled himself between his whining best friend and the little shit who had just hit him. "You touch him again and..."
"Danny stop!" Rusty grabbed at Danny's arm attempting to stop the man from pummeling the kid into the ground. His other hand was still rubbing at the mark.
"Don't touch him again." Danny whispered to Linus who was pressing into the wall, away from the angry leader. Rusty was rolling his eyes at his friend and trying to physically drag him away.
"You keep away from him." Danny spoke tersely, his hand grasping Rusty's forearm.
"I'm going to be with anyone I want to thank you very much." Rusty carefully removed Danny's hand from his expensive suit and walked on trying not to roll his eyes, again, at Danny's antics.
"he bitch slapped me, he wasn't exactly intimidating, you should have given him a break, he's just a kid."
Danny blushed lightly and Rusty laughed.
"I know, but I couldn't help it." Danny spoke quietly utterly ashamed of how he had overreacted.
"I know, it was just so..."
"Stupid?"
"No,..."
"Crazy?"
"I was going to say...sweet."
