This is a quick Christmas story I'm doing to take a brake from The Fox and the Flower. But those of you wait for me to update on it, it will be up within this week or the next.
Chapter 1
Thoughts
Minato Namikaze or the Yellow Flash as most of you know him, was finally beginning to enjoy his life again. Even though he was one of Konoha's strongest ninjas, his name was famous around the world, he played a major roll in defeating the Rock ninjas, and had even began a relationship with Kushina Uzumaki, a young lady he met on a mission in the Land of the Whirlpool, he had previously been in pain.
This pain was caused by the suicide of his friend Sakumo Hatake and recently the death of Obito, one of his three students. Kushina was now living with him and if it wasn't for her, he would probably still be in that pain, or maybe even depression. It was currently December 21. Four days until Christmas.
"That's right Christmas is not that far away…Damnit I still haven't-"
"Minato!"
"Huh? Oh, I'm listening Lord Hokage!" Minato quickly replied.
"What did I say Minato?" the Third asked.
"Um……I got nothing. I apologize." Minato said.
"I thought so. I'll repeat this one more time. You listening?" he asked. Minato nodded. "Good. Minato Namikaze, I am choosing you to succeed me as the Fourth Hokage." he said as Minato's eyes widened.
"M-Me?" Minato stuttered. The Third Hokage nodded and smiled. "Thank you, sir!" Minato said as he bowed.
"You may leave now." said the Hokage.
"Yes sir. Thank you again." Minato said as he turned to leave.
"Do you know what you are going to get Kushina yet?" the Third asked.
"I have a good idea of what I'm going to get her." Minato said as he smiled.
"Good luck." the Third replied as he continued his paperwork.
"I'm going to propose to her…Christmas Day!" Minato thought happily.
