Darkness poem to his light
Why are you so afraid of me
My friend, my light, abiou?
Who told you the universe is a safe place?
That person is a fool
Darkness stirs in every heart
Waiting for its chance
But you are pure
And I am not
Like shadow and light
Why do you forgive me?
I've tried to harm your friends
Yet you offer me a grin
Hug me tight and say goodnight
Even though I never sleep
My mind is a dark place
Full of hate and fear
Yet your purety and kindness
Is making my mind clear
Taking away the pain
Taking away the sorrow
And making things like friends and family
The ones that I hold dear
But the darkness still beats
Well within my heart
It smaller now, much smaller
Being overthrown by light
