Really short, I know, but I was just thinking of possible stories. If you like it, tell me and I might attempt to update next I find a computer. No house, due to hurricane damage. I'm moving around, so I don't really have access to a computer all the time. But I'll try to post when I can.

I don't own Kuroshitsuji. Obviously. Or I wouldnt be writing fanfics

11pm
I stood at the window, watching as the large pool of dark, shining water flowed through the streets. Waves crashed against the walls of all the neighbors houses, quickly making its way up the steep driveway and into my garage. Within moments, the freezing cold water had begun to leak through the wooden walls, covering everything within five feet of the walls or a foot off the floor.

12pm
I watched, knee deep in water, as the water continued to pour onto the streets until it was at least four feet deep outside, and then, the water slowly drained itself, finally revealing all of the cars it had destroyed, all of the homes it had drenched, the furniture and belongings of others it had stolen.

1am
When it was all over, hours later, the house was bitterly cold, soaked and reaked of fish. The phone lines were all dead and no one dared leave the house. It was abnormally dark, the only light coming from the glo of the fireplace in the center of the room and the full moon outside, just barely visible through the thick fog.

2am
I look down at the copper-color pocket watch in the palm of my hand; the fancy, complicated design of the Phantomhive crest staring back up at me. 2:49. Slowly, once everyone is out of the room, and the water has completely gone, I pry open the door and walk out, staring up at the wide, full moon, brighter than all of the city as it mocks us and our unfortunate disaster.

So absorbed in my stare-down with the moon, I don't even notice the startlingly bright strike of lightning overhead or the awful burning sensation running through my entire body.

3am.
