The man's thoughts started to drift off topic. Why was that boy so well known? Why...Why was he so well loved? He hadn't started his career even a year ago, and his fan-base was already huge. Though himself, who had been one of the very originals, was left in the dust, barely known or remembered...Why was that...?
Just then, the door creaked. Leon turned his head to the door to see a small blonde haired boy in the doorway, bandages over his left eye.
"You wanted to see me ?" the young boy asked.
"Ah, yes," Leon got up from his seat "Please, come in,"
The small boy shyly walked into the room, closing the door behind him.
"So, uhm, w-what did you want to talk to me about?" the boy asked.
"Well, you see Oliver, I wanted to talk to you about where your career is headed," he started to say.
"O-Oh, what about it?" Oliver asked.
"You're getting very popular, very quickly as well," Leon told the boy.
"R-Really?" Oliver asked.
"Yes, your fan-base is great in size, yet you've only been out a year..." he continued.
"I-Is that s-so?" Oliver asked, a bit of nervousness in his voice.
"Of course, haven't you noticed? You're so well loved, so well known, so popular..." Leon continued even farther on.
Leon didn't realize this, but he had slowly been backing the boy into a wall, having the boy completely cornered at this point.
" , w-what are you d-doing?" Oliver asked, nervous and just then noticing he was against the wall with no where to go.
Leon didn't speak a word in reply, but looked at the boy, an odd look in his eyes. Oliver tried to let out a scream, but Leon quickly muffled it with his hand.
"Shhh," Leon told him "Don't scream, I wouldn't want to get caught~,"
Oliver went wide-eyed, fear shinning in his eyes. Leon then took the boy by his collar and held him in the air.
"Why...?" Leon started to ask "Why are you so well known?! Why do so many people love you?! You haven't even been doing this a year, I've been doing this so much longer than you! Why am I not in the spotlight?!"
With his last words, he turned and threw the young boy at his desk with great force. Oliver let out a shrill squeak as he hit the desk. Leon walked over to the boy, who was trying at that point was to get up and run for the door. He grabbed the boy's wrist, hard enough to hurt him. Oliver let out a stiffed scream, trying not to make Leon any angrier than he already was.
Leon forced him against his desk and forced off the boys bandages, knowing that it would hurt the boy to do. He earned a tiny cry from the boy, who was shivering with fear.
Leon then picked up the boy, the older man's sleek, thin fingers slowly wrapped around the boy's neck. He then started to gently squeeze, listening to the sweet, sweet gasps the boy let out in reply. He started to squeeze harder, and harder, and harder until the boy started suffocate.
Suddenly, the adrenaline that was fueling him ran out, and he quickly returned to his normal self, realizing what he was doing. He quickly dropped the boy in horror. What had he done? How could he have let himself do such a thing? How could he be...Such a monster?!
He then remembered that he was strangling Oliver a moment ago, and quickly went to check on him. The boy was on the ground, gasping for air, shaking violently. Not knowing what else to do, he desperately ran to get help.
