This takes place when Gaara and Ino where five

Ino walked down the streets of Suna. She was here with her dad on a mission because he had no one to watch her back in Konoha.

"You'll be staying at the Kazekage's building, Ino. Please behave yourself." Her father had said that. He had been gone for a while.

Ino passed a room with the door wide open. 'That's weird, all of the doors are closed here except this one. I wonder whats in it.'

Ino stepped inside. 'Wow.' The room was filled with toys. 'I bet a kid like me lives here.' Just then a little boy, about Ino's age, stepped out of the shadows.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?"

"My name is Ino Yamanaka, and I was just curious about why this door was open and all of the other doors are closed."

"Oh. Well you need to leave."

"I want to know, what's your name?"

"Gaara."

"Will you be here tomorrow?"

"Yes."

"Ok, bye!" Ino walked down the hall. When she reached her room she plopped down on her bed. 'Wow, he really is strange. There's no one else ever in his room. I think I'll give him a present! But I don't think he'll like flowers. Hmmmm. Oh, I know! Maybe a teddy bear. I think he'll like that.'

Ino got some of the money that she had earned and went into town. After walking a few blocks she stopped at a toy store. 'Hmmm. I wonder where the teddy bears are.' She stopped and asked a clerk.

"Um, where are the teddy bears?"

"In isle 5"

"Ok. Thanks."

Ino walked down the isle. "Teddy bears, teddy bears. Where are they?" she muttered. "A ha, here they are!" She picked out one with buttons for eyes, light brown fur and a little dark brown nose. "Wow, this is a really cute teddy bear. I hope he like's it!"

Ino walked back to the Kazekage building. The sun was setting in the distance. 'I didn't relize it has gotten so late.'

When Ino finally got back to the building she made her way up to her room. The clock read 8:24. 'Almost time for me to go to bed.' Ino put on her pajamas and crawlled into bed and was out in a second.

The next morning Ino shot up. She had had a nightmare about her home burning down but she desided not to think about it. When she was dressed Ino made her way down the hall to Gaara's room. The door was open still. Ino stepped inside the room.

"Your back." Gaara said

"Yep. And I brought you some thing."

"What is it?"

"A teddy bear."

"What's that?"

"You have all of these toys in here and out of all the ones that you don't have it's a teddy bear?!"

"Yes."

"Well, now you have one. Here." Ino held out the bear.

Gaara just stared. He had never seen a teddy bear before. Gaara reached out and grabbed the bear.

"It's so soft" he muttered.

"Yep. I have one to. What are you going to name it."

"Name it?"

"Yeah, name it. I named mine beary."

"Ummm, I think I'll name it mr. teddy."

"That's a nice name. Well i have to go now because my daddy is going to be back soon, so i have to go pack. Bye!"

"Wait, are you going on a trip?"

"No, I'm going home. I live in Konoha."

"Oh."

"Ok, well bye!" Ino started out the door.

"Wait, come here for a second."

Ino turned around and came back. "What?"

Gaara walked over to Ino and gave her a hug. "Thanks for mr. teddy."

"Your welcome. Bye!"

"Bye." Ino walked out the door.

Thirteen years later Ino and Gaara met again. They hit off in an instant. A little while after that Ino and Gaara got married. They had one beautiful daughter that they named Yuki.
