All I see is dark...I know not of where I am, nor what of what I'm doing here. All I do know is that I am restrained, strapped to a hospital bead, all alone. Why am I here? The door finally opens, and with what strength I have I turn to see who has come. I make out a man in a wheelchair, and a woman in white, one of them speaks, and from the sound, it's the wheel-chair bound man...
"Outsider, you came stumbling to this clinic, bleeding like a river, why?" he asked in a raspy voice
I rake my brain, trying to remember, and a single word returns to me, "Paleblood..."I breathed out.
"Oh yes, pale blood...heh. Well, you've come to the right place, Yharnam is the home of blood ministration. You need only to unravel its mystery. But where's an outsider like yourself to begin? Easy. with a bit of Yharnam blood of your own. But first..." he says, wheeling to a table and grabbing a parchment, "You need a contract..."
He held out the parchment to me, with the little strength I hade left, I reached for the quill in his other hand, and slowly signed my name...Leonidas
"Good, all signed and sealed. Iosefka, bring the blood. Now we'll begin the transfusion. Oh, don't you worry. Whatever happens... You may think it all a mere bad dream..." He said. I felt a sting in my arm as the woman Iosefka began the transfusion. I struggled to keep my eyes open, but it was a losing fight. I heard the wheelchair bound man chuckle as everything faded to black...
My eyes slowly opened again, but I was all alone now. No woman, no wheelchair man, no anyone. I look over to my right, nothing, but when I looked to the left, I saw a pool of blood unrivaled in size, and from the pool, a creature began to arise. A wolf like creature at first glance, but I came to the realization that it was disturbingly human. I tried to move, but my restraints were still in place. The wolf beast trudged towards me, the look in it's eyes making it clear it had intent to kill.
I was prepared for my flesh to be shredded to pieces, but when the beast reached out to touch me its hand burst into flames. It reared back in terror, as the pool of blood itself ignited, the flames swallowing the beast as the flames of purgatory would do to those condemned in hell. It flailed and reached for any sort of salvation from the flame, but there was no one, man of beast to save it.
The creature burned to nothing, and as it did, a slight glow began to appear around me, as small, deformed creatures began to crawl onto the bed I laid on. I tried to shake them all off but to no avail. They swarmed on me, and refused to come off. I was certain that they would kill me, but instead, I felt my bonds loosening, these small...things were working to free me. I felt my consciousness once more slipping from my grip, and my eyes went heavy once again, and as I closed them, I heard a sweet, kind voice say
"Oh, you found yourself a hunter."
