Chapter one:
The payment for the given blood
"Your wish has been granted by Subaru, now the pay for granting his wish must take place" Yuuko looked into the samurai's face.
"I will pay the price" Kurogane said looking at the witch.
"The price for filling the basement with water will be you're fighting skills" Yuuko looked at him. He looked at her. She could see the anger rising in his mind. However, the witch knew that Kurogane would not refuse to pay his price. He was a bad tempered kid, but he was also very grown up, and responsible. He has been trough a lot, she thought.
"Very well" the ninja said. He could barely understand what the witch was going to take. His fighting skills. His whole life he had been training to become who he was, a master in the art of fighting. What would he be without it? She was going to take his soul.
A light appeared deep in Kuroganes chest, the light grew stronger and a sphere of light flouted out where the heart hammered in his body. The sphere flouted to Yuuko, and she held it. Kurogane looked at her again, sending waves of hate against her. But, he knew that Yuuko was doing her duty as a witch. To keep the balance is an important factor in wish granting. He knew that there was no other way, he was powerless.
A sound of water was heard. The water dripping in true the ceiling and slowly the basement was filled with clear icy water.
"Your wish has been granted" Yuuko said to Kurogane. Then she closed her eyes. "You can still learn how to fight again. But considering the amount of time you have devoted to the art of fighting, it will take a great amount of time to recover what is lost as well. But still, do not lose hope, look at it as a hindrance you must over win. Bye for now"
"Bye Yuuko-san" they all said, except for Kurogane.
"Ehrrr…" suddenly Fay opened his eye. The iris was that of a vampire, and it glared right into Kuroganes black ones. They stared at each other. Fay stood up and walked against the ninja who stood still against the wall. Fay's hands closed around Kuroganes throat.
"Why did you do that? Why the hell did you keep me alive!" Fay screamed in rage, his vampire eye fixed upon Kurogane.
"You can't go around wanting to die! You say you don't want people to be involved, well I can tell you one thing: THEY ARE INVOLVED! We all care for you, they want you to be happy. They would to anything to save you, and then you just shrug and say you don't want to be saved. If you died, we would have been hurt, we would have missed you and our hearts would have been filled with an empty space. We don't want that, but it seems you do!" Kurogane screamed in the vampires face. He felt Fay's hands strangling him, but he didn't do anything to get away. He felt nails burring into his skin. Warm blood trickling down is neck. "I CARE FOR YOU YOU MORON! DO YOU NOT CARE ABOUT ME!" Kurogane felt his body struggling for air, his sight weakened. Soon it would all be black.
"I… I care… I care about you…" Fay said, letting go of Kuroganes throat, making the ninja fall to the ground gasping for air. "I care for you all so much"
"Then you should worship your life like you friends do" Kurogane said, still sitting on the ground gasping.
Fay stood there, looking at Kurogane. He let out his hand against him. Kurogane took it in his, and Fay slowly pulled him up. They looked at each other. Their noses barely touching each other.
"Sorry, I am so sorry" tears started pouring from Fay's eyes.
"It's alright, to be loved can sometimes be hard. But believe me it's worth it" Kurogane replied. Then he placed his hand on the Fay's back and drew him closer. He gave him a hug. He knew that his words where true.
