She Stared up at the Starry Sky, wishing he'd come back for her.
But of course, she knew he wouldn't.
A single tear slipped from her light blue eyes, as she closed the book before the drop hit the paper.
knock, knock,
Raine looked up, a few strands of her light cyan blue hair falling back, and a few rested messily in front of her half-elven ears. Her brother creaked open the door, peeking his head through innocently. He frowned before taking a deep breath and speaking quietly.
" Um.. Lloyd wanted us to stop by.. I was wondering if we could go now.." He mumbled, finding the old wooden oak floor interesting. He was making this up, of course, but both him and Lloyd knew that the teacher was depressed.
" Oh.. yes, of course Genis." She answered, putting her book aside and getting up, letting her maiden outfit shine in the moonlight streaming from the window. Her brother almost opened his mouth and stared wide eyed at her, but he quickly ran away to his room to pack a couple things. Raine shook her head before walking out of her room and into her study, picking out a couple books and putting them in her bag, before sliding it over her should and waiting at the door.
" uh.. Sis, I um.. wanted to know if we could.." He trailed off, shifting his weight. Raine smiled slightly, her brother always made her think about everything she did.
" Visit Marble's grave? Ah.. yes. I suppose we could." She said quietly, before they walked out the door, taking in the night's beauty.
