Outside was a crazy thunderstorm. The wind was blowing very fast and the rain was falling rapidly. It shouldn't be like this, it was just August. In a small apartament you could see a figure resting in his bed after a long day.

Sasuke was wrapped up in his blankets, sleeping peacefully. He had quite a hard day and needed some rest.

Suddenly, something woke him. It was his cell phone. He reached for it and answered annoyed. Who the hell could be at 1 in the morning? On the other line was a feminine voice. A voice he knew so well. His girlfriend, Sakura, was scared of thunderstorms. She spoke, stuttering.

"S-S-Sasuke I'm afraid! She screamed as a thunder exploded in the sky. He sighted. He knew how Sakura could be . She was a smart woman but she could act like a child sometimes. He really wanted to protect her. It didn't matter it was 1 in the morning. For her, he could climb on a mountain in the middle of the winter dressed just in a pair of T-shirt and shorts if that could protect her.

"I'm going to be there as soon as possible" He answered.

He got out of bed and dressed in some jeans, a dark blue shirt and a black jacket. After he got an umbrella, Sasuke headed out to his girlfriend's apartment.

He arrived there in less than 15 minutes and didn't bother to ring the doorbell. He unlocked the door using his spare keys. Sasuke entered the bedroom and found a scared Sakura laying and shivering on the bed. She didn't joke when she said she was scared. It was like she had seen a ghost, or zombie or worst.

He approached her and got in the bed with her. Sasuke hugged her and felt her relax in his hamds as he combed his fingers slightly in her silky hair. He wiped her tears with his thumb then kissed both her cheeks.

"You're so childish. There's nothing to be afraid off." Sasuke spoke almost whispering.

"I k-know. But I'm still scared" She buried her face in his neck as a thunder hit the sky.

"A storm is something normal. It won't hurt you. And even if it would I'll always be here to protect you."

She smiled.

Sasuke kissed her. She melted and relaxed. There was nothing to be afraid off when he was with her.

"I'm here." He spoke again trying to calm her.

She looked up at his beautifull face. His eyes shone with so much love for her. Sakura was overwhelmed. This time she was the one to kiss him. It didn't last long but it was breathtaking anyway.

"I love you, Sasuke. Thank you for being here with me"

"I love you, too" He kissed her again, just a small peck this time.

Sakura forgot about the storm and wasn't afraid anymore. She knew who would always protect her.

They both fell asleep after a short time still tangled in a loving embrace.

I wanted to write something like this. It's 1.09 am and i'm still editing this. i really hope you like it. i think it's very sweet.
