Hey guys! This one has been haunting me for awhile, and I finally got enough motivation to write it.

Chapter 1
The group of Scientists sat at the table in deep discussion.
"The last test subject we used is already gone."
"Well, how are we supposed to solve this?"
"Solve what? We are experimenting. Not trying to solve global warming like that other group."
"That's it!" One scientist stood up aruptly. "That group of bird kids!"
"We can't take them all. You've seen what they are like."
"That's why we only need one."
"Which one?"
"Maximum Ride."
At the same time, Max was flying around. The flock had stopped to stay at her mom's house, and while they rested, Max was restless and went to fly around. She should have been back about two hours ago, but she hadn't listened to adults, not even her mom, for awhile and it was a habit she had and wasn't trying to break.
The sky was absolutely quiet, except for Max's wings beating. But, she started hearing something else following her.
"Okay," Max turned around, ready to fight. "Who's following me?"
Nobody was behind her, but she could still hear something.
"Hi! Are you Maximum Ride?" A childish, but mature voice came from behind her. When Max turned around she saw a blue haired child with a black streak in their hair.
"Depends on who's asking." Max replied.
"I am." They replied. "It's okay. I already know you are."
"Then why did you ask?"
"So I wouldn't feel bad when I did this." They flew foreward, catching Max off guard.
They hit her in the pressure point and her body locked up.
"Have a good sleep." Was the last thing Max heard before she passed out.
