"What are you watching," he grumbled in irritation. The noise coming from the television was loud and obnoxious and had roused him from his meditation. How does she expect anyone to do anything in the house when she's blaring this trash?
"Who's the boss," she said nonchalantly without looking at him. He stared at her for a moment with a blank expression that slowly twisted into a smirk.
"I am," he baited while blinking curiously at her. Kagome glanced sideways at him and snorted lightly.
"That was absolutely horrible, Sesshomaru. Inuyasha could have thought of something better than that," she grumbled while rolling her eyes. His eyes narrowed on the woman before him.
Kagome suddenly found herself tipped backward along with the lazy boy recliner she was sitting in. Sesshomaru hovered above her, his strong arms on either side of her shoulders holding down the chair. The mischievous glint in his eye revved her heart rate.
"What are you-" she shrieked.
"I. Am." He said, cutting off her loud cries. Kagome let out a chuckle before she grinned up at him.
"You're the boss?"
"Mmm Hmmm," he nodded while still holding himself over her.
"And… now you're going to show me who's the boss?" she whispered. Sesshomaru wrapped his arms around her, pulled her out of the chair, and whisked her away to their bedroom.
Across the room, Shippo looked at Rin with a questioning expression. Rin shrugged and wrinkled her nose in distaste while reaching for the remote.
