He Who Sees Me

Comments: I got this idea when I was in Japan. I always wondered what the Japanese people really thought of all of us...since it was obvious that we didn't know a great deal of their language or customs. I immediately thought that it would be a good SasuNaru. For now it's a one-shot. I intend on adding more but loosely.
ooooOOOOOoooo
I always see him.
Not because I want to, but because it's difficult not to.
He is always there.
By the door.
It opens and people bustle in, it closes and people rush out—and still, there he is.
The first time I saw him I thought he was asleep. He was crouched there, where he always sits. His eyes were closed. His orange jacket was loose around his frame.
His lips were parted and his pack was loose at his side. I figured he was dreaming.
But he wasn't asleep.
He could sense me and he opened his eyes. I blinked.
Blue eyes.
I stared.
Amazing, haunting, deep, beautiful, alluring…
He grinned at me and closed them again. Still, I stared.
On that first day, he had me. He had me curious, had me thinking...
Now I know he doesn't sleep.
His eyes may be closed, but it's just to block us out.
A woman asked him once where he was from. He had smiled uncomfortably and spoke to her in English. Probably said he didn't understand. None of them do.
They come and laugh and take us in. They point and take pictures and we smile in return. We're polite—it's in our nature.
Foreigners are kind, but they are different. There are barriers between us. I feel pain that they don't understand—that they never will.
And this one—this boy, is just the same.
No matter how rare his blonde hair is or how angelic his eyes glow, he can never understand me. When he looks at me, I see he thinks the same thing.
That I will never understand him.
So we understand by not understanding.
We never speak, we never try.
But nevertheless, I always see him.
Not because I want to, but because it is difficult not to.
But today is different.
For the first time, he is not here.
A/N--> Short and simple. Just for fun.
