The rise- vampire academy fanfic

Fear, one of the last things I remember feeling before I felt hands, ice cold to the touch, wrap themselves around my body and feeling the endorphins flood into me as razor sharp fangs pierce my skin.

Suddenly, my legs can no longer support my weight and I soon find myself falling onto the wooden floor hearing Lissa's voice shrieking my name in fear "ROSE!"

My eyes soon open, bringing me back to reality and seeing Dimitri, the man I loved shaking me with a look in his eyes that normally are filled with love and compassion replaced with worry and concern.

"Roza are you okay"

He says as he pulls me into a strong yet warm embrace. I feel sweat dripping from my chin and I notices that I am trembling, just from the thought of the dream I just had.

I start to calm down and slowly drift back into sleeping forgetting that Dimitri asked me a question.

(Dimitri's Point of view)

I wake up, seeing Rose tossing and turning in bed making me shake her until she finally woke up. She was sweating so much and trembling like she saw something horrifying, all I could do was hold her, until she started to slowly calm down and stop trembling.

I lowered my head to hers and kissed her on the forehead, and closed my eyes to soon fall into a deep sleep with Rose in my arms calmly sleeping.

(Back to Rose)

"Good morning my Roza" a voice whispers huskily in my ear, bringing me out of my dreamless sleep.

I look up, only to be greeted by Dimitri who was wearing nothing more than his sexy black boxer briefs with a cup of coffee I one hand. I take the coffee and just before I was about to sip it Dimitri gives me a kiss on the head and lays next to me and says "do you want to talk about last night?" I look down and remembering the dream still as fresh in my mind as anything as I replay the scene over in my head.

I surrender, finally realising that if I didn't explain myself, he wouldn't stop bugging me about it.

"in the dream, I was in the palace… and there were striogoi attacking" I stopped in the middle of the sentence remembering everything, Dimitri then put his hand on mine and I continued. "you, Christian and I were protecting lissa with some other dhampir, and a striogoi got hold of me and started to feed off. I last thing I remember was me falling to the grown"

Dimitri stared at me with his captivating dark brown eyes, he then hugged me and said "don't worry Roza, it was just a dream nothing more" after saying that he lead me into a passionate kiss.

After a few minutes we separated and Dimitri got in to the shower and I started to get dressed. The rest of the day was the same as ever, I stayed with lissa and Christian was with her so Dimitri was with him also, when it was night me and Dimitri would snuggle in each other's arms and slowly drift to sleep.
