When a nation invades another, and they are left to fend for themselves by the world. What will a group of refugees and clergy men do to save them? /Yes, if you can see some similarities. This story was made to honor the people who protected the refugees and survivors of what is known as The Rape of Nanking.

Chapter Zero: Introduction to the War

The Naga-Griffon war began in the year two hundred and eleven, when the Naga invaded the Griffon Kingdom and slaughtered every creature in the city of Talon's End. At that time, the Kingdom had been aiding Equestria in the North against the Tyrant Lord Sombra and so were caught unprepared for the surprise attack on their kingdom. And by the time that they had recalled enough soldiers to combat the threat, the Naga had already killed and razed twenty more villages and had made their way to the Gryphon capital of Griffonstone, pushing back the royal army at every turn to the point of the Gryphon's taking all the food and burning what couldn't be taken with them. But it was for naught, for the Naga's had prepared for this and had plenty of food and water. And it was during the battle of Griffonstone in the year two hundred twelve when members of the Monkey Empire's clergy and military under the order of their king, Sun Wukong were sent to Griffonstone to provide aid. And one of those members, Father Thoth would go on to organize the missionaries that came, into a defence force as well as the Equestrian missionaries that were already there, and lead them and the refugee's to what would later be called the Peace Zone.
