Don't Go Back to Your Room Tonight, Clark
It always bothered me that this scene was unfinished. I'm going to take the liberty and fill in some blanks.
Will calls over to Lou, "Don't go back to your room tonight, Clark." She complies and walks over to him and fully knowing what he wants and she wanting the same, nuzzles into his side on the bed and leans in to kiss him. Their kiss intensifies. They briefly pause for a breath. She sits up and asks him, "Are you comfortable?" He responds, "I couldn't possibly be more comfortable...as long as you are with me." She smiles, gives him a peck on the lips, and gingerly climbs over him to lie on the opposite side of the bed where there is more space.
She snuggles back into his side and asks, "What did you have in mind?" He laughs; "Well, I'd like to continue exactly what we were doing and take things from there."
Will's mind was racing. How many times had he played out in his head what he'd like to do with Louisa. Seeing her in that red dress, "holding" her so closely and being taunted by her supple breasts at the wedding and then sleeping next to her on the night of the wedding as they stayed in the adjacent hotel when she was not in any condition to drive had left his mind reeling. Would he have been a perfect gentleman if he were able-bodied? Truth be told, with Louisa, yes. He would have suffered for her until he knew they were emotionally and spiritually in the same place. He had never felt this way, never about anyone. She was a delicate flower who needed to be protected. That night after the wedding, he passed a sleepless night, daydreaming of how he would love her, imagining every millimeter of her body, replaying how soft the texture of her skin felt against his and inhaling her fantastic scent that intoxicated him as she slept. Will was still a man. His brain wasn't paralyzed.
Lou changed positions and wrapped her leg around Will's legs. She was, for the most part, lying on top of Will. They continued with their passionate kisses. She kissed over every part of Will where she knew he could feel her. She kissed over other parts of his body and narrated to him what she was doing and what she was feeling emotionally and how sexy she found him to be. Everything between them was so natural.
They both spent a sleeplessly beautiful night, holding each other, loving each other, laughing, filling each other and talking to one another. Louisa made Will feel like the man he once was, only different. The storm had ended. They drifted off into peaceful sleep.
