Alfred F. Jones ( America )'s POV:
We were fighting on opposite sides in the war, we both suffered pain together. It was a long war, but I always wondered, why did we have to fight?
It wasn't like this when we met back in the 1800's when I came on my ship and try to make you open up trade. You were uncertain to open up but I got you to final agree to open yourself to the world.
You told me thank you and you were excited for this new change, I could see how happy you were getting. I thought we were going to the best of friends, no matter what.
The ones that stay by your side and you can count on, but that suddenly changed. You became an enemy to me with Axis, I wasn't part of.
Why? But I guess I give myself the same question when I bombed you twice. I had to put an end to this war, it was tearing us apart.
I regret bombing you, I never really wanted to hurt you. I never wanted to ever put you in harm, my good friend.
But years went by, I'm surprised that you even still wanted to be my friend. I thought we were done for, never to become friends again.
But as the years went on, we did become close just like we used to. It made me happy as it made you happy as well.
You always stood by my side when all everyone else, would look at me like what an idiot. You stayed through my dumbest ideas and didn't care about what the others thought.
We have become closer and closer, I don't wish for us to fight as enemies ever again. I already still for bad for what I have done to you.
But you always say look into the future, the past is said and done. You cannot go back to it, no matter how hard you try.
There's really no easy way to say this is there? I thought so.
