First snow fell on Paris, but heroes had no rest from akumas. Their kwamies, however, did their best to protect the chosen ones from cold.
New villain was as thematic they come, somehow angry at snow. There are plenty of reasons to be.
As Chat Noir put his claws out, he noticed that he was finely warm, and that was due to him being in fur. It was shiny and soft, and his cat ears were on a headband that protected his actual ears. Even his nose was warm. He wanted to show off to Ladybug, hopefully earning her touch.
As He rushed towards the battle, he saw his lady standing on a rooftop as show fell. Her suit had an extra layer of silk over it, which was glistening and sparkling from snow. Silk on her mask continued like a band, covering her ears. Chat was charmed and forgot how nice his suit is. Nearly.
He jumped down next to her, holding his hands behind his back as bent into her field of view, smiling with excited cat eyes. "Nice suit, my lady" - "You too, Chat" she scratched behind his ear playfully, but with no flirtatious intent, and moved closer to the villain. Chat was cheered, but he still wanted more. You just can't ignore such a furry kitten in need of hugs.
Despite their good protection, this akuma was rather troublesome. It even defeated the lucky charm and cornered them. Chat was tired of his bad luck and wondered why HE has bad luck if cats are the ones that BRING it. A thought hit him. Indeed, if he has power of bad luck, why not test it out? Soo plag didn't say anything about such power, but if the belief is about a cat crossing your path, then the villain must pass over spot Chat was at as he moved from one cover to another.
Chat decided to act and Ladybug thought he was buying her time to think. Chat made a half circle with determination to jinx around the opponent and teased him to come closer, which he did, crossing the line.
Ladybug haven't come up with a plan yet, and Chat decided to try out his theory. He stood up and boldly walked toward the enemy with a grin. "Chat, no!" Ladybug was terrified of his idiocy, but the stupidity of what followed puzzled her even more.
The villain casted hail wind, but the closed space turned it into a whirlwind centered at the caster. He shoot icicles at him, missed and broke a barrier that he made earlier, releasing civilians. Chat got close and the villain made an ice wall between them, but it had no support and fell on him, knocking him out. Chat giggled and took the akuma's lair, breaking it in half. Ladybug walked towards him, deevilized the butterfly and slapped Chat with all she had.
"Stupid cat! How dare you risk yourself like that!" She laid her fists on his chest "Stay safe, will you?". She didn't want him to sacrifice himself for her like he does so often, especially since it once led to his death. She relaxed her hands as she laid her head on him. Mmm his fur is so soft… Chat embraced her, without grinning. "I'm sorry my lady, I just thought we had to train new powers as we continue fighting the akumas. I promise, I'll be more careful."
Ladybug's earrings made a final beep, distracting her from the warm embrace. "Lets talk about it later, Chat Noir." - "Sure…" - "Meet me at school at six". She left, and Chat didn't knew what to think. It was first time she was so worried about him, but most importantly, he can finally meet her outside of battle. He was determined to make her happy, even if it was about him being safe, yet there is definitely more to learn about their miraculouses.
