It was a bright and sunny afternoon. Johnny and I were walking side by side down the sidewalk towards my house.
As we were walking side by side, just talking and laughing, our hands would brush every now and again
Something suddenly dawned on me. I stopped short and Johnny just stared at me.
' You Ok?"
" Yeah i'm fine" I managed to reply biting my thumbnail. I looked up and Johnny was really far ahead so i ran to catch up with him. He took my hand and pulled me along.
I glanced nervously at our hands and gulped. "Uhh, Johnny?"
"Yeah"
"I-I think, I mean... I have something to tell you."
"What is it Kayla?"
"I think," I paused starting to bite my nails again.
"Kay, you can tell me. What is it?" Johnny smiled.
I smiled back and said " I think i'm in love with you."
Johnny's big doe eyes widended .
I felt my face get hot with embarresment. I tore away from him and ran down the street.
"Kayla! Wait!"
I didn't listen. I kept running. I'm not that fast of a runner so eventually Johnny caught up with me. As he got closser he grapped my arm and forced me to stop.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to blurt it out like that, I mean"
I dodn't get to finish before Johnny pulled me into a passionate kiss on the lips.
"No need to apologize," he smiled and pulled me into another kiss. " I Love You Too"
I smiled brightly and I wrapped my arms around his neck. This, by far, was the best day of my life.
