Summary: Inuyasha kills Kagome. Kagome denies it.

Kagome's P.O.V.

I wake up, as if from a horrible nightmare, clutching the sheets I'm sleeping in. I hear a voice calling for me.

"Who's calling me?"

I ask. I get up and follow the voice. It leads to a secluded area of the forest, where I find my body.

My dead, bloody body.

"That's me...am I dead?"

I ask. I kneel down, touching the blood on my face. I lift my hand, seeing it. Real blood.

Suddenly, I sink into my body. I am one again. I get up, kneeling on the forest floor.

My love approaches. Inuyasha's face had shock all over it.

"Thank kami...you came. Help me..."

I say desperately, clutching my bloody chest. He just stays shocked.

"How...?"

He says. I widen my dark brown eyes, tears streaming down my face.

"Aren't you...dead! Just now...I did it..."

He raised Tessaiga after he spoke.

"With my own hands...!"

He hits me with Tessaiga and I fall.

It had happened again. I went back to my body...and he killed me again.

'I thought I was dreaming...'

I wake up in the same bed, running my fingers over my throat.

'Just now...was that a dream too?'

I looked out the window.

'I can find out...if I got there. To that place...under that tree. It can't possibly be real. He would never kill me. Not him...'

Normal P.O.V.

Villagers gazed, shocked at the bloody body that was the dead Kagome.

"Brutal. Look at this..."

"He really went overboard."

"No doubt."

"He must have been harboring a deep hatred."

"He seemed to have completely lost it."

"Yeah. According to him, the woman kept coming back to life over and over again."

Kagome's P.O.V.

'See? I knew it. It's a dream, right...? I know... You've been calling for me all this time...'

She thought.

'See? You love me.'

She imaged him, turning and smiling at her. Inuyasha.

'You're coming to greet me with a smile.'

She imaged hugging him.

'Don't worry...I'm here.'

She smiled.

' I'll always be by your side...'

Inuyasha.
