A/N: I don't own any of the characters or world the story is set in except Felicity and her family. This story was inspired from the song Little Lady by Ed Sheeran, check it out it's amazing.
Chapter 1
The streets where filled with people hurrying along the busy sidewalks moving between the various stores, the sounds of laughter and chatter permeated the air. To the average person this would have been nothing new, to be honest it wasn't anything special but for Felicity this was her home, the streets of London in all their undervalued glory. Here she could close her eyes and get lost in the small magic that the music of the buskers could bring into her life, a distraction from the harsh realities that lead her to the entry of an seemingly unused alleyway. There he waited ready to give her the address of her next customer, feeling the fingers of shame grip at her she slowed her pace trying to prolong the inevitable.
Suddenly her world is turned on her side and she is in the floor. She looked around her for the cause of her instability, and there standing before her was a tall young man who looked close to her age with red hair and a mischievous look that seemed to be engrained to his very being.
"Sorry love, didn't see you there." He said while offering a hand "no harm done?"
"Yeah no harm, I just fell for you that's all." she mumbled as she stood up and brushed herself off
The tall stranger apparently heard her and chuckled at her very literal joke causing Felicity to stop and look up at this stranger. He had a very pleasant laugh, so light hearted and free, it felt almost mocking as she couldn't remember the last time she herself had laughed in such a way. She couldn't help the small smile that worked its way onto her face at the sound of his laughter. Soon the two where laughing together like old friends at the strangeness of the situation
"Let me buy you a something, anything to make up for my dashing good looks causing such a beautiful young woman such as your self to fall for me." he managed to gasp out as their laughter died down to allow for normal conversation.
Felicity stopped then and bit her lip, she glanced at the opening of the alleyway out of the corner of her eye knowing full well what would happen to her if she was late.
Seeing Felicitys hesitation the young man clearly misunderstood the cause of her silence.
"Fred Weasley at your service and don't worry I don't bite." His words pull her attention back in him and the now extended hand offered to her, a small smile to form and she extends her hand to grip his.
"Felicity Barwick."
"Well then Felicity what shall it be?"
After a shaky sigh she smiles at him, her life couldn't get any worse so what was the harm. Without another glance in the direction of the alleyway she nods her head.
"Sure."
