Disclaimer: I do not own FF7 or anything that goes along with that, I just
want to use them for this little ficcie. I'll be sure to be kind, rewind,
and return them with little or no harm done. Oh, and do not own "Heart and
Soul."
I Do
Cid was sitting on the front porch swing quietly humming "Heart and Soul". He was thinking what to get Vincent for their anniversary. He realized for all the time he spends with Vincent, that he couldn't think of one thing to get him.
As he was thinking, Tifa came out and joined him, "Hey, wuz up, you look like your meditating or something." She said as she sat down.
"No, its just I can't think of what to get Vince for our anniversary and its driving to migraines," Cid replied, still thinking he added, "You have any ideas?"
He looked at Tifa with a brandish of hope. "Well, hmph… Oh! I know, why don't you take him out on the town? I'm sure two young lovers like you can find something to do." She suggested, winking at him suggestively.
Just then, Cid had an idea. "Yes! That's perfect. Then, oh, I can't tell you yet, not until I make the arrangements." So Cid stood up, did a little jig and walked into the mansion with a big grin on his face, leaving Tifa in the dark.

"Yes, I need it by tomorrow, can that be arranged? Ok good. Its at the restaurant, Ru da Prara Dis. Ok, alright… then thank ya….. bye." Cid was elated with his idea, and he knew Vincent would love it.
"Hey babe whatcha doin'?" said Vincent. He crossed the room to Cid and wrapped his arms around Cid's waist. Cid put his around Vincent's neck. "You weren't planning for our anniversary, now were you Cid?" Vincent said, nuzzling Cid's neck.
Cid hated it when he did that, cause it made him feel like doing or telling him anything. "No, why do you ask?" Cid sighed trying to keep composure. Vince started to rub his back and his neck. Damn willpower, Cid thought.
"Well, I don't know. It just seemed like, with the way your acting now, its hard not to think." Vincent replied as he smiled against Cid's neck. Then he lifted his head, "Well, if you won't tell me, I won't force you to answer." Vincent said, and he pouted his lip like a child."
Cid removed his hands and did the same with Vincent's. "Don't pout, you look like a little kid when you do that." Cid paused, then added, "And besides, you don't have to force me to tell you anything, because there is nothing to tell." Cid said as he walked away from Vincent.
"Cid darling, you know I don't like surprises, so just tell me." Vincent whined. Cid was heading up the stairs. "Well," he said, "Why don't you come up here and make me?"
Then he raced up the stairs with Vincent close on his heels, I think it was the grin that did it. They burst into their room, where Vincent tackled Cid to the bed. He pinned Cid's arms above his head with his clawed hand. "I got you," said Vincent. "and if you don't tell me. I will just have to tickle it out of you." With that, he started to tickle Cid, until he was laughing so hard his sides hurt.
