"Granger!"

Hermione rolled her eyes at the bellowing coming from down the hall.

"Yes Draco," she answered with an exaggerated long suffering sigh.

"Why, exactly, is my son, and heir, and descendant of the proud house of Malfoy - dressed like a woodland creature? A not very bright woodland creature might I add."

Giggling, Hermione plucked her babbling baby boy from her perplexed husband's arms, and nuzzled his little cheek. He patted her face and then proceeded to leave sloppy kisses all over this woman's face. He liked her. She always knew when he was hungry, and when he needed a change, and when he wanted fussies, and when he just wanted someone to discuss the universe with him.

What was best, was that she knew her place in the order of things. He was there to be adored and worshipped.

The other louder one was also an acceptable servant. Taller than the fuss-giver, when he carried him, he found he was much higher than all these other plebians that seemed to surround him. He liked that.
Gave him a much better view.

He wasn't too sure about this outfit though. It was fluffy and warm, and felt very nice, but this hood had some funny things attached to the top. The fuss giver seemed enamoured with it, but his taller servant didn't seem to care much for it. He was still undecided.

"It's Easter Draco love, so meet your Easter Bunny," fuss giver giggled. The tall one rolled his eyes before stealing his son back. "You dressed him as a Bunny Rabbit Granger. I can't wait for Father to see him like this."

Fuss giver seemed to giggle even louder at that, and Deacon was quickly growing bored.
He was no longer the centre of attention. That was unacceptable.

He was just about to announce his displeasure, when he heard a wonderful thing. One of his favourite voices.

"Hermione Darling, what have you dressed Deacon in? Oh he looks adorable. Doesn't he look adorable Lucius?"

This voice person obviously worshipped him, so he grinned toothily at her while holding his arms out, little fingers opening and closing. He knew she'd pick him up immediately.
He had trained them all well.

Narcissa scooped him from Hermione's arms and settled on a nearby sofa to cuddle her grandson.

Lucius still stood in the doorway, gaping, in a very Un-Malfoy manner.

"He's dressed as a Rabbit." he deadpanned. Draco rolled his eyes and replied in kind.
"He's the Easter Bunny Father," before quickly pointing at his wife, when his father turned an icy look on him. "It was her idea."

Hermione just shook her head at them and joined Narcissa who was cooing at her grandson's outfit. He had finally decided he quite liked it. It was garnering him even more attention than before.

Lucius watched them for another moment, and then smirked diabolically at his son, before dropping a bombshell, "Narcissa dressed you quite similarly for your first Easter as well, you know."

Chortling at his son's horrified expression, he stalked forward to join the Malfoy ladies in the admiring of his little grandson.
