Hey y'all! Welcome to my brand new series that I've created with kurobasu-imagines on Tumblr! Basically this whole thing stems from a late night conversation we had and we had really wanted some YouTuber Kagami so here we are! I hope you guys enjoy! These are connected one shots.
Creation
A 13-year-old boy by the name of Taiga Kagami sat in his room as he set up his video recorder that was installed on his laptop. Having gotten inspired by his surrogate brother and other vloggers, he was trying to record a video for his newly made YouTube channel. With the help of a friend, Kagami managed to find a decent cam recording program. As soon as it booted up, a tiny light next to his webcam lit up and the first thing he saw on screen was himself. It was weird, almost, as if he were in a video already.
After exploring the options found within the program, he cracks his knuckles and gulps.
"Alright, Taiga," he tells himself, "you got this." He clicks the record button, and the camera started rolling.
"Um, hi? My name is Taiga. Tatsuya told me to make this and I wanted to, so I guess I am or something…" Was this really a good idea? Looking at himself now, he could definitely see the nerves getting to him. He was shy, yes, but this wasn't meant to start off as fancy or cool like the other videos he found. But shouldn't he seem more energetic? Interesting? He fidgeted with his fingers before continuing, "Anyways, welcome to my channel. Enjoy your stay here? See you later."
After the video stopped recording, he let out a breath and gave a little sigh. It was his first video, after all. It could have been worse.
Oh well. Good enough, he thought. He drags the cursor over the share button at the bottom of the screen and bites his lip.
