"Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?" Romans 9:21
Through the furnace of fire, the trying trials and temptation road, the way of narrow, the street of low and woe, I am brought down, tried and broken down, humbled and contrite in heart that I may become a vessel for Thee. Break the cold heart of stone with Thy rod of iron, dash my pride into pieces and scatter my shame away, send the sin off the face of the earth, and let me be pure in Thy sight. I wish to honor the King, and I pray to lift up my praise for Thee higher and higher like unto a flame of fire. Lord, I want to become a vessel for Thee, not one to dishonor, but a vessel to honor Thee and give glory to Thy holy name, lifting praise with my heart in psalms and sing in my soul with joy and gladness. Although it's hard to be tried as silver, I shall come forth as a vessel finer than the finest earthly vessel, blessed with the mighty hand of my Lord God. Make me new and clean inside and out, a vessel for Thee, it's what I want to be, to glorify Thy holy name. Empty me out of worldly thoughts and earthly desires, that I may be more like Thee, O Lord, I humbly pray, make me more like Thee. Lord, You are the Righteous Potter, holy and undefiled, pure and altogether lovely with no wickedness at all, perfect and no evil is in Thy throne. With Thy holiness of hands, make me and fashion me as a potter shapes his clay. Purge me as a branch that I may be a vessel unto honor, sanctified and I shall glorify Thee, my Lord and Potter. O Lord, let me be strong for my Master's use, a vessel for Thee, giving all thanks and praise unto God Most High. I bless You, O Lord Almighty, Creator of all and the Potter with the highest of honors. All glory and praise, I give to my King Jesus Christ, the Lord of lords.
A song to give honor to my Lord, my Potter.
