To me the sky is dark
Blue and purple, a canvas of
Mystery and wonder, speckled with silver
And different hues of gray swirls
To me the sun is glowing
Silver and white, an orb of
Light and open, reflecting the bright
Orange and yellow of its twin
To me the forest is dappled
Green and gold, a world of
Life and vibrance, depicting a tapestry
Of sound, sight, smell, and touch
To me the sea is shimmering
Black and gray, a sheet of
Shining, sparkling glass, sitting in the
Moonlight and starlight under the clouds
To me the world is a
Place of memories, layers upon layers
Of color and senses with another
World over it showing us ourselves
