chaos, MOMO, and Jr. are sitting at the café, waiting for Shion and KOS-MOS to get there and explain to them the urgent message they all got early this morning. "God how does she do it," Jr. says impatiently as he paces around, "each time Shion wants to meet us, she's the one who's always late!" MOMO looks up from her book that she had brought with her to kill time. "Relax, will ya Jr., she'll be here soon enough," MOMO says with a hint of annoyance in it, "just calm down, take a seat, order a drink, and shut up, I'm trying to read." The door to the café opens up and chaos looks up from his U.M.N. to see Shion and KOS-MOS walk in. "Hey guys sorry we're late but KOS-MOS' upgrade took longer than expected. KOS-MOS goes and sits down beside chaos then brings up her internal clock. "Shion, I think it is about time that you told them about the mission." KOS- MOS says in her monotone voice. "Good idea." Shion says as she brushes her hair out of her face. "Mission?," Jr. asks, "what mission?" Shion now has a crooked smile on her face. "That's why I gave you guys thoses messages. All of don't know this but for the past few months I have been working on a project, a time machine if you will." Everybody slowly absorbs all the information as Shion contiunes to explain. A few minutes later Shion is done. "Any questions?" she asks. "Yeah," chaos asks, "what does this have to do with us?" Shion lets out a sigh and continues. "Well, since the military knows about our past experiences with the Gnosis, they want us to deliver and guard the Time Machine." A minute passes, then MOMO asks, "Wait a minute, why do we have to guard it?" "I will answer that," KOS-MOS says before Shion can even open her mouth, then activates a 3-D map, "we are here, inside this red circle, fifty miles from the Lost Jerusalem and we must get the Time Machine to a hidden base within the remains of the. Rocky Mountains." Just then Jr. bursts out laughing. "Is that it," Jr. says as he laughs, "this is going to be a walk in the park." KOS-MOS turns off the map then turns on a projection. Everyone gasps and Jr. stops laughing. "Oh god, that can't be real." Jr. says. "I'm afraid it is," Shion says, "this is a live feed, coming directly from the base to KOS-MOS." The room is silent as they continue to watch in horror as hundreds of Gnosis run across the screen. KOS-MOS turns it off, knowing that they had seen enough. "But how is that possible?" MOMO asks. "It's simple, when the human race left the Lost Jerusalem, or Earth as it was once called, the Gnosis took the opportunity and moved in, seizing control," Shion says, "the base that we are going to is a resistance against the Gnosis and they are trying to take back the planet." "Okay you guys, these are our mission objections," KOS- MOS says, "one: get to the base in one piece, two: eliminate any Gnosis that get in our way, and three: go back in time and make sure that the Gnosis invasion is not a success." MOMO quickly stands up, startling everyone. "Well you can definitely count me in." she says happily. "And me." chaos adds. Everyone then looks at Jr., waiting for an answer. "Hey," Jr. says with a grin, "let's go kick some Gnosis ass." Shion lets out a sigh of relief, glad to have almost everybodies support. "Hey you guys, have you seen Ziggy?" Shion asks. "Yeah, I seen him earlier with Hammer and Tony in the Catapult Room." chaos says. "Well if you see again can you tell him about everything that just happened" Shion says. chaos flashes her an okay sign as he goes back to his U.M.N.. " Yeah, we should get ready for the mission." MOMO says then grabs Jr.'s hand and runs out of the café, dragging Jr. behind her.
