I kept running after him, Scarecrow was faster than I had remembered and I also did not know why he was in . He was heading towards the federal reserve, probably trying to get money for himself, no matter what he was trying to get money for and why, I had to stop him.

This rooftop rampage reminded me of the time, that i had chased after batgirl, thinking that it was babs, but only to realize that it was the new batgirl; Cassandra Cain. I had been away with my duties for the Teen Titans. After that I finally understood that I would not be able to live without her; Barbara. I visited her in the hospital; she was angry at me, Infuriated that it had taken a month for me to finally visit her to say something. I knew that she was right. She also told me that she had called me millions of time, I knew that I had not heard a single message from her. To this day I never knew what had happened then and why I had not gotten Barbara s messages.

"All right, Oracle, I said into the microphone. How many goons does he have?"

"There's just someone in front of him, Nightwing," Barbara replied. "Now when you come back, remember it s your turn to buy dinner tonight!"

"Oh not it s your turn... I m gonna have to call you back"

"Dick what is it? Dick! Shit. Where are you?"

"I didn't think you would ever return," I said

"I'm ready to pick up where we left off," Starfire said

"I'm not... I'm engaged... to Babs,"

"But you can leave that behind and come with me!"

"I'm not gonna do that. Contrary to you belief, my life does not revolve around you,"

"You're just going to leave me here and I'm never going to be able to tell you how I really feel, who I really am."

"When I left the Teen Titans, I did not know if I was making the right decision, but now with the life that I have here with her, with Barbara, it s what I want to do, the life that I want to live. You may have thought that I would have dropped everything to be with you or that I would re-evaluate my life decisions, but there are no choices to be made, this is the life that i want to live, and you are not going to be able to change that."

"So that is how it is going to be. If you can t understand that I am what you need, than maybe I have to show you why,"

Barbara was desperately trying to pull up security camera for the area that she had lost contact with her fiance. She hoped that he was okay, but she did realize that he logged off by his own accord. But she had a feeling that there was something else in play. She was finally able to pull it up and saw the unconscious body of Starfire, one of Dick's many Ex-Girlfriends.

An hour later I walked into the room where Barbara masqueraded as the information broker Oracle who helped the Birds of Prey, the Outsiders and even the Justice League of America.

"What happened?" Barbara asked me.

"Oh. Just an old friend who thought that my life would have no meaning and that I would drop everything to be with them, I answered.

"So the unconscious body of your ex Starfire going to the hospital is just a coincidence."

"Yeah, I leaned in and kissed her. Now I think it was your turn to buy dinner tonight."
