The Sting of a Time-Whip

Again, time had to turn back.
Her cheek still stung from the smack.

This, fate had given to her.
A reminder of the blur.

The rest did not remember.
They were just a club member.

They were enjoying their lives,
until the cruel curse arrives.

And, without fail, it takes one
and, again, the world is done.

Hope is gone. Tragedy strikes.
Trust, love – they're skewered on spikes.
