Eh, this story is just a quick story reflecting on how much I loathe New Years. All it is to me is a sick remainder about how I got backstabbed by one of the people I cared for the most.
And I'm crazy enough to still like the girl. I don't think it was her fault anyway (though it may seem that way.)
This story is one of the crappiest I've written, so I do apologize

After Two Years, Where do I Stand
Naruto Uzumaki sat quietly on the bench of the central park in Kanoha. Some would call him crazy to be sitting in the park on such a cold night as New Years Eve. Why wasn't he celebrating like everybody else? His friends were attending parties or throwing ones of their own, so why was it that he didn't go with them?
Because it was New Years.
The Christmas and New Years' season had been a tough time for the young seventeen year-old-teen. Several incidents lead him to a state in which he could no longer enjoy the once happy time of year.
Of course, his reasons many wouldn't understand. People seem to be that naïve of others' feelings and when they attempt to comfort him, they usually indirectly offend him or make him hurt even more that he wanted to.
After two years, he just learned to find some quiet place to be where no one could bother him.
A quiet sigh passed between his lips. He cut the cloud of steam in two with his finger. Snow was falling gently and gathering on the grass that surrounded him, it was freezing, but it didn't bother him. The cold always helped him feel better.
Haruno Sakura.
A shudder when through his body... That girl had been both a curse and a blessing to him. A beautiful girl in which he had a three year relationship which ended in the most disastrous way possible. He had never been happier before, neither had he ever felt so bad.
The court. That's where it all ended. Before the face of a judge.
Harassment... would you believe that? He could. He understood that one day he'd screw things up, but never like that! Of course he said something stupid, but believe that he'd act on it was ever stupider (if that's even a word)!
Naruto freaking loved the girl! He'd never harm her even if he wanted to.
But of course, things get manipulated to make him look like a maniac. They even used their arguments as a stab against his mental stability. I mean, when a guy and a girl have a fight, isn't it natural for the guy to call her and apologize?
And even at that, after two years, he still likes the girl...
Maybe there is something wrong with him... but one thing's for sure...
He still loves her and he still cares for her...
