Selena searched the pitched black room feeling her fingertips touch the cold hard marble, not knowing how she would get back to earth. There is no way, I can't possibly get back now, hell is inescapable she thought as she walked unknowingly into another chamber of hell. She stepped silently into the cold room, her breath becoming small and short. She knew her fate the moment her eyes settled upon a man with dark black eyes and raven hair. He smiled malevolently as he turned toward her. Fire arose from the ground with every step he took toward her. Selena's feet moved faster than her mind as she rushed frightened from the room, her feet echoing against the cold floor. She heard no steps behind her so she looked behind her and luckily she didn't slow down, but rather sped up, for the man was behind her running as fast as she was. Why doesn't his footsteps echo! Surely the Devil would leave his presence everywhere he went in hell! She ran into a chamber and was astonished. The room sparkled with red rubies and black stones with the smallest of diamonds and pure gold. The furniture was every red from maroon to blood red. Unfortunately as she pulled the gold door at the other side of the room, it was locked. She quickly sped around to see the Devil enter the beautiful chamber wearing a smile. At last it spoke to her "wonderful isn't it". He sat in a blood red chair next to the burning fireplace. "all of this stolen from those few nobles who gave their souls to me". He laughed and as Selena expected it to be, it was loud and booming not like hers at all which was small and, as her friends said, tinkling like a bell. The devil stared at her and smiled menacingly "yes, as you say, like me its deceiving". He smirked as her eyes grew wide when she realized he could read her mind. "beautiful but made of evil". I have to get out of here and find my sister, Persephone! Her eyes darted from The Devil to the door and chose quickly, she ran from the door she had opened and across the hallway she found golden doors that were identical to the ones she had come out of and figured if anything this would be where her sister was. When the doors finally swung open she screamed like she had not before in her life.
