(A/n: another one of Jon's p.o.v.'s at Alanna's wedding/posy-marriage celebration. Um…sorry about the formatting. I don't know what happened)

King Jonathan tried his best to not be jealous of the way Alanna's eyes were lit-up as she danced with George. He couldn't believe he had let her go. Even as he was dancing hand-in-hand with his wife, Thayet, his jealousy and regret simmered just under his calm surface.

She looked so good moving across the dance floor

I got my best smile on, but it's no disguise

Jon was itching to go over to Alanna and ask for a dance from his Champion. It was perfectly acceptable. Just six words: A dance for your King, Alanna? As he fought himself, his face hardened. Thayet sighed in defeat.

"Go on, Jon. I can tell you want a dance from her."

"I don't know where you got that idea, Thayet."

"You keep looking at them."

"I'm happy for them."

"Happy my foot. Go."

"No."

"GO."

"NO."
