This isnt a full story, its just the begining. Hope you like it.
THE LAST DAY
It was when I was 13 and I had run away from home because me and my mom got into a huge argument. It had been 2 days, but I went somewhere safe which was my dads. My parents had been divorced for about 2 years now. I mostly stay with my mom, but I'd kinda prefer to stay at my dads cause he's more fun and hip, if you know what I mean.
My dad thought it would be a good idea if I went back to my mom's house because she's probably worried after the 2 days I was gone. But then I thought if She were really worried she would call like everyone on earth. My dad drove me to my mom's house and when we got there there were police cars like everywere. I got so worried and ran inside to see what was wrong. Right when I walked in mom yelled," THERE SHE IS!!". the cops turned there heads toward me and glared right into my eyes,
An officer walked towards me and said," What's your name little girl?" I answered," Emily Cooper," in a soft voice. Then another officer said," Well do you know why were here?" I had no clue so I answered no while shaking of fear. Then one officer came over to me took out his handcuffs and handcuffed me. I asked what was going on, and all he said was," YOUR UNDER ARREST, ANYTHING YOU SAY WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN THE COURT OF LAW".
As they were taking me away, I gave my mom a look that meant what was going on. Then an officer said," Remember that argument you had with your mom?" and I answered yes. Well she said you threatened to kill her and you threw a t.v. at her, he said. I stood there with a shock. I couldn't believe my ears. How could she lie like that. I thought I was her daughter. Well I guess not. I looked at my dad and he said," I'll come for you sweetheart".
As they drove away with me in the police car, I looked at my mom standing at the door with tears running down her face. I shook my head in disbelief, I thought I was dreaming. I shut my eyes for 5 seconds and opened them again, but then realized that it was reality kicking me in the butt. When we got to the place, the sign on the building read Juvenile Detention Center. Then I knew I would probably be there for a little or a lot of time. From what I heard mom had said about me.
As we were walking into the center, I wondered why mom would want to do any of this to her only daughter. Well, I guess that's how life will be. Not knowing what will come knocking at your door.
