I'll admit the truth I've never played Tales of the Abyss, honestly. I've read a lot about it and I'm an avid SyncArietta fan, so I decided to write this. I don't know if this will be a spoiler, but screw that, even if Sync is pretending to be dead. This is a drabble-type one shot, so it will be pretty short.
… Them; their very names were disgusting. We're trying to help everyone! Why're they trying to stop us? Fon Master Ion… he too, didn't want to live by the telling of Yulia's Score. I'm sure he didn't want to either. None of us wanted to. We wanted to break the laws of fate and dawn upon a new world, where we could live freely to decide our lives and decide how we wanted to live; not how Yulia said we would live.
I will defeat you, for everyone in this world.
But not just for them though.
For everyone you took away from me.
My precious Momma Liger who rose along with all my brothers and sisters; they were special to me! How could you just take them away! I won't let you get away with it! Especially you… Anise. And Fon Master Ion! It's your entire fault he died too! You killed him… You and your stupid little friends! He died… You kill him… Fon Master Ion… If you hadn't stolen my place, if you hadn't manipulated him, Anise, this would never have happened! Fon Master Ion would still be alive! And I would still be Fon Master Guardian! Not you!
You took away everyone! You took away everyone precious to me!
I'll avenge them… Momma Liger and Fon Master Ion!

He was special… And you tore him away from me. I can't remember a time he really lost his temper at me. He was always just so… calm around me. It's not like he was nice, but he was never mean to me. He wouldn't shout orders like Dist would. He usually told people who yelled at me to stop and act mature. It was like his unconscious way of protecting me… He always helped me too. Whenever my doll broke, he'd always fix them for me; sew them up and give them back, just as well, but now that you guys killed him… He won't do any of that anymore. This is my repayment.
I promise you… I won't let you die in vain…
I'll fight for Fon Master Ion and Momma Liger and for you…

Authoress says Boo I sort of like how this came out. It may be OOC due to my not playing of Tales of the Abyss. There might be a version 2 in the future. I might also right an epilogue of sorts, depicting Sync's feelings after Arietta really dies. I'm not sure if when people assume Sync's death, it was by the hands of Luke's group, but… Well, if not, think of this as AU, where Sync is seemingly dead at the hands of Luke.
