IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:
Did you know that there's no official BookCon, or convention for book lovers and readers what so ever? There may be a VidCon or a ComicCon, and there's even a BeautyCon, but no BookCon. That got me thinking what if all of us on Fanfiction pitched in to create an annual BookCon? I mean seriously how cool would it be to meet all of your favorite authors, instead of going to tons of meet-ups all over the country to meet them. Why not just go one place and meet them all?
There is a committee of people who got together realizing this fact, and starting planning for a BookCon. It may take a year or two to get everything we need (sponsors, a convention center, and some donations) but we're willing to use up our time to create this memorable event for everyone to enjoy.
Please spread the word across Fanfiction. Every single person who knows can make BookCon even more anticipated. Once the idea is made popular enough the BookCon committee will then launch a savings account that people can donate money towards to BookCon happen sooner than we expect.
