Author's Notes: Oh my gosh.... for those out there who haven't watched the
"Samurai X" movie called "Reflections" I advise you do if you wanna know
what ends up happening to Kenshin, Kaoru, Sanosuke, Yahiko etc. That movie
brought so many tears to my eyes I could barely make out the screen in
front of me. I won't spoil the movie for anyone although I am absolutely
dying too. I wrote this poem for Kenshin and Kaoru. There maybe a little
spoilers though sorry ^^;

"I Will Always Wait For You"
The journey may be lonely, the road may seem so long
But my heart awaits your presence. My love, you have to be strong
Fight back those tears with the little light that lies in your soul
And when you return to me my love, I will mend your heart's hole
I give you courage you give me your life
Always remember me, your loving wife
Our son has grown to question you, for his eyes hold the pain
He fears but understands for he knows whom you have slain
My body grows weaker and my time now grows small
But you shall find your way home just listen for the winds call
We both are dying of a sickness that has no given cure
But that wont stop my love for you, no matter the pain I'll endure
The pan in my heart is much worse than any other emotion
I will wait for you till the day I die, that is my devotion
Please remember those happy days we both sat young and true
And please always remember my love, I will always wait for you.....

You understood me, my tears, you asked me to share my pain
I was afraid. Afraid of loving you not wanting to accept my fate
But now. Now I understand you were forever meant to be my mate
The blood we've shed is a memory of our trouble-bearing past
But now this separation is killing me at long given last
I ignore the terrible cough, I ignore the sickness all the while
But please forgive me my love, it is because of me you will not smile
I long to see your face again, to see it like the first time we met
But now your days grow dark and stormy, your eyes always remain wet
But please don't miss me, my love, don't love a man you can't see
Why should your heart remain mine, if with you I can never be
Take care of our son. He's the most precious gift we could have received
I love you with every breaking minute, and I have always believed
Believed in my suffering. Believed in my heart, never trying to subdue
I will find a way home please don't worry. I will find a way, my precious
