One hot summer day, the young Konoha ninjas decided to go to the beach to have some refreshments.

"This is odd," Sasuke told himself while watching Hinata putting some sunblock on Naruto's back. "I shouldn't feel this way."

"Sasuke-kun!" called Sakura, happily waving to him. "Let's swim, the water is cool!"

Feeling little dizzy because of the hot weather, he decided to swim.

Before he could reach the shore, he got a glimpse of Hinata who was blushing because of Naruto.

He found that cute and all of the sudden he became aware that there was something wrong with him. Why did everytime he looks at Hinata, he just felt something special towards her. She found her interesting and really cute. He also felt jealous with Naruto whom he knew Hinata fancied.

He dived in the water to forget Hinata's cute face flashing in his mind. Could it be possible that he was falling in love with her?

"I'm assigning the four of you for a mission at the Fire country," said Tsunade to Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Hinata. "You are going to investigate about the mystery killings that happened there a week ago."

"I'm going to have a mission with Hinata? That's cool!" said Naruto and Hinata blushed.

This is irritating Sasuke thought. Well he liked to have a mission with Hinata but without Naruto around. He wanted Hinata for himself.

"Is there something wrong Sasuke-kun?" Sakura asked him. "You seemed to be quiet."

"I just don't like these arrangements," he said in an arrogant voice. "I don't want Hinata to be in this mission."

"Hey, you don't have the right to say that!" Naruto shouted at him. Hell, what did Hinata see in this Idiot?

"Sasuke-kun," Hinata called. She looked upset. God! How could he hurt her? "I-I'm—"

"Well, Hinata really have to be in this mission," Tsunade interrupted, "Even if you are the leader Sasuke, I would not change me mind."

In the third day of their mission, Hinata and Sasuke were left in the hotel where they were staying. Naruto was in the place where the last murdered happened to investigate and Sakura was in the hospital to check the corpse. Hinata stayed in the hotel to do some research and Sasuke decided to accompany her.

"How's the reaserch?" Sasuke broke the silence. He really wanted to talk to her.

"Ahm, it's doing well," Hinata said in a shy voice.

"That's good,"

"Ahm, Sasuke-kun," Hinata called. She really looked vulnerable. "About this mission," she said and pauses. "Don't you really like me to be here?"

"I-," he looked at her innocent face. Is he going to tell her his feelings? Instead he went beside Hinata, really close to her. He looked intently at her face and he saw her blushed.
He held her face towards his.

"Sasu-" Hinata wasn't able to finish her words because he kissed her. Her lips tasted so sweet. He held her tighter when she tried to push him. He kissed her deeper and Hinata pushed him harder with all her might.

He looked at those questioning beautiful eyes.

"If you're going to ask me why I kissed you," he said looking straight in his eyes. "I want you, Hinata."

"I-I'm flatteres Sasuke-kun that someone like you, who is popular, handsome and powerful shinobi to like me," she said in a shaky voice. "There are so many girls, who wanted to have your attention, so why wasting time with a losers like me?"

"I don't care about them. I want you." he said honestly. "And don't call yourself a loser. For me you are so special."

"Thank you."

"So does it mean that you can be my girl?"

"Sorry. But I already love someone, and you know him." Hinata said. She stood up and walked towards the door.
