I pictured this poem to be about a girl who had just recently lost her husband and this is his letter that he had wrote to her before he died. Also Ego semper amem te is latin for "I will always love you"

Dear my sweet angelic rose,

fate has forced my life to close,

you must know I won't leave thee,

Please don't shed a tear my love,

I am watching from above,

I want you to smile with glee,

Here I will wait for you dear,

till you arrive one new year,

we'll be together soon bee,
