How Lucky Am I?
Kayo stood outside on the balcony of Tracy Island as the warm yet cool air whipped around her. Rubbing her now cold bare arms she looked up at the sky; and saw a full moon and it glowed rather beautifully amongst the stars that surrounded it. Sighing sadly Kayo looked at the water below crashing among the rocks. "Am I that lucky because right now I really feel lucky I rather feel like a sore loser" Kayo thought to herself. "That's because your not a sore loser and you are lucky you just don't know it yet" a voice said from behind Kayo. "Uh!?" was all Kayo said and then Scott was by her side as he placed a blanket across Kayo's shoulders.
Kayo said nothing but silently thanks Scott both Scott and Kayo say nothing as they look out at the ocean. After a few moments Kayo said breaking the silence"Scott I am sorry I really am. I should have told the you and the rest of the family sooner about my past and my Uncle the notorious Hood." Scott Tracy didn't say anything for the first few moments as he continued to look out at the ocean. Then after another tense moments of silence Scott said "It wasn't your Kayo fault never think it was your fault. How shall I say it for the rest of the family a lot to take in and digest.
Plus dad was in on it so Kayo never think of yourself as a sore loser ok. Your so much better than that so called evil uncle of yours and…." Kayo was now perplexed as she watched Scott scratch the back of his head and look down at his feet. "Scott is everything ok?" Kayo said quietly after a few moments now Kayo was beginning to get worried. "Scott is there something you want to tell me. If there is then tell me because your starting to worry me here" Kayo said. This caused Scott Tracy to chuckle a little bit making Kayo both worried and confused.
As silence threatened to settle over the pair again before Kayo could even get a chance to say anything. Scott finally made up his mind he was going to tell Kayo how he felt about her despite the recent development of her news about her being the niece of the most evil man the hood ; and he was going to do something right now before he lost his nerve again. "Kayo" Scott started to say taking another deep breath before looking Kayo in the eye. Finally taking another deep breath Scott brought his eyes to Kayo's then took his hands in hers. Kayo now was extremely worried about Scott and wondered what Scott was thinking. After another round of silence "Kayo" Scott said once again it was now or never Scott thought to himself.
Sighing for what seemed like the millionth time Scott then said "Kayo I think I've fallen for you basically what I am really trying to say is that I love you." "Scott" Kayo said her voice above a whisper she was unsure of what to say. Scott meanwhile chastising himself for putting Kayo into this position it was simply to much information to process at this moment. "Kayo I am sorry for putting you in this position. I know this is a lot of information to process but I am willing to give you all the space you need. But I'll be waiting in the wings for your answer but for now I'll say it once again I'll give you all the space you need ok" Scott Tracy rambled on and on.
"Scott" Kayo said but Scott continued to ramble on like he didn't hear Kayo at all. "Scott! Scott! Scott Stop!" Kayo shouted. "Uh!?" Scott stopped his rambling and looked at Kayo. Kayo laughed at Scott's confused look on his face; "Let me talk ok" Kayo Scott merely nodded his head in response. "I like you Scott and I mean more than a sister and friend" Kayo said. "Really!?" was all Scott Tracy could say; this caused Kayo to laugh once again but she didn't get a chance to respond. Why you might ask well the reason was quite simple Scott Tracy silenced Kayo with a kiss.
Breaking the kiss after a few moments all Kayo could say was "Wow." "Wow indeed" Scott Tracy agreed. "That was some kiss wasn't it" Scott Tracy added. "Yes it was" Kayo agreed. "Maybe we could continue sometime like maybe tonight lets say tonight" Scott Tracy said. Kayo heard the hopefulness in Scott's voice this caused her to laugh. "Sorry to crush your dreams fly boy maybe later" was all Kayo said as she went back inside of Tracy house. Looking back at Scott Tracy Kayo laughed covering her mouth with her hand the look on Scott's face was priceless. He looked absolutely dumbfounded; " You seriously don't mean that Kayo you've got to be kidding me" Scott said. "You know me Scott or at least you should by now I am practically part of the family" Kayo said. Scott opened his mouth to say something but quickly opened it up again only to say "damn." He then followed Kayo inside the Tracy home with his head hanging low; and Kayo laughing at his misfortune.
