Part Three

That morning we got ready and went into downtown Iridis. We stopped by to talk to my mom and Luke. "Hows the mansion, Clary?" my mom asked curiously

"Its amazing! Its so beautiful and huge and, and, and amazing!" Jace smiled at my loss of words.

"Thats good." my mom said as she looked at jace and smiled. Jace smiled back. I felt like they knew something I didn't.

"Hey," Jace said. "why don't you guys come and eat dinner with us at the mansion tonight?"

"Thats a great idea Jace." my mom said like she was expecting him to say that.

"We will go talk to Alec, Isabelle, Robert and Maryse and see if they want to come as well."

"Can Simon come to?" I asked hopefully. It has been a while since I had seen him and he is still working on remembering things, but a lot of his memory has come back.

"Yeah we will talk to him to."

"Okay well we will be there about 6:00?"

"That sounds good, see you then."

"Okay."

After we left my mom and Luke's house, we ran into Alec.

"Alec, where is Isabelle?"

"At the house. Why?"

"Okay. Be at the mansion by 6:00 tonight." Jace said as we walked to Robert and Maryse's house. Alec looked at us like he was very confused but he said

"Okay…"

Once we got to Robert and Maryse's house we ran upstairs to find Isabelle. When we opened the door to Isabelle's room we walked in on her and Simon kissing. I was very uncomfortable and said "Oh, we can come back later." as I pulled Jace out of the room.

"No, Clary, wait. What do you need?" Simon said.

"We were just coming to tell you that everyone is coming to have dinner with us at the mansion tonight at 6:00 and you both are invited to come."

"Okay we will be there."

"Great tell Robert and Maryse to come as well." Jace added.

"We will." Simon said. Isabelle hadn't said anything and didn't look very happy that we had walked in the room without knocking.

"Okay see you tonight." I said as I gave Simon a hug.

"Yup."

As we walked around town into different shops Jace was very distracted. Like he was looking for something very specific. I couldn't stand it anymore, I had to ask. "What are you looking for?"

"Hm? Oh nothing."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I am sure."

"Okay."

When we went through all the shops in Irdis we started to head home. When we finally got home it was about 3:30. "We should probably start getting stuff ready for dinner."

"Yeah."
