Night At The Skyscraper Scamper

By Yoshizilla-Rhedosaurus

It was a nice, quiet night in the bustling Empire City, and a couple of friends were enjoying a nighttime picnic on top of a grassy garden rooftop.

"Ahhh..." Silver The Hedgehog admitted as he munched onto some lettuce, gulping down as he smiled. "Sure was nice of Ms. Vanilla to invite us over for a picnic, eh guys?"

"I hoped she made lotsa spaghetti, and she did!" Amy Rose exclaimed with glee as she held her hands together, smiling. "And it was so yummy, it's wrapping itself around in my tummy!"

"That is disgusting." E-123 Omega commented as he was sipping some oil in his robotic mug of himself. "I do not understand why you organic creatures love eating such worthless consumption objects."

Silver turned to Omega as he moved his hands around. "Come on, Omega. Can't you be positive for once?"

"I would try, but it would make me get attracted to destruction." Omega explained as he raised his metal arms. "You do know who created me, right?"

Silver sighed as he placed his right hand on his forehead. "We're well too aware at this point..."

"Guys, let's not get all moody! Let's just go do something fun!" Amy exclaimed as she twirled around, dusting off her red dress shortly afterwards.

Omega rubbed the back of his head as a letter suddenly fell from the night sky.

"Look! A note!" Omega commented as he picked up the message with his mechanical right hand.

Silver got up as he placed his hands on his hips. "I wonder what it says." He then took the letter from Omega, opening it up as he began reading it loudly. "Dear pesky plumbers... this message will self destruct."

And then the skyscraper they were all on exploded, with Silver using his green psychic ability to hover, also using it to catch Omega and Amy, all three of them watching the skyscraper tumble down.

"Humph! Well that wasn't very nice!" Amy admitted as she held down her red dress with both of her hands.

Silver nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah. Whoever sent us that letter sure has the nerve to-"

"Stop your pointless chatter, and look up!" Omega commanded as he pointed at the taller skyscraper behind Silver, with a small, shadowy figure going around the skyscraper.

With Silver turning his head to the tall skyscraper, he hovered onto it, following Omega's lead as he let go of his psychic, with Amy trailing behind as she pulled out her Piko Piko Hammer. The trio spotted the shadowy figure, who smirked as it turned around.

"Hmmhmmhmm. I see that you caught my letter," The shadowy figured laughed as it spoke in a feminine tone, "I was hoping that you would invite me..."

Silver and Amy gasped as Omega dropped his mechanical arms down, his robotic eyes widening.

"You?" Omega remarked as he was absolutely stunned, recognizing the shadowy figure. "Can it really be, after all these years...?"

"Yep," The shadowy figure remarked as it approached Omega, "Time to admit my identify. I'm..."
