A/N: After seeing the latest new episodes since the "Secret Library" an idea of Cedric becoming lonesome came to me since it looks like Sofia has been very busy lately so I thought I might use it. Please Read and Review!
Sofia the First: Cedric the Lonesome
It had been a while since his apprentice had been to his workshop. From what he had heard from Sofia she been busy with helping people. She said she had this secret new job and had other activities around her. Was she ever going to spend some time practicing magic with him again? Was he ever going to have fun with her again? Who was he going to share his fresh batch of fly cakes with him now? Who was going to help bring fun to his job again? Who was going to give him pep talks on believing in himself when he felt down about himself?
Loneliness was something Cedric felt now. It had consumed him for a while now and the sorcerer didn't know what to do. Wormwood would accompany him when he went to ingredients but the raven never helped him with his work. He was missing the youngest princess of Echancia, she use to help bring the fun to his work but now that she had been busy he felt like his work had become boring g once again.
Cedric sighed as he laid his head in his arms while sitting at his desk. Since the princess wasn't visiting him the sorcerer felt like his day ended too quickly. He never thought he would see a day like this but it seemed like he was wrong.
What was he suppose to do now? Cedric had his work done for the day. He had ideas of reading but changed his mind, he didn't feel like reading. The only thing left to do was go to bed but it was too early. The sun was still in the sky.
Lifting his head up Cedric got out the deck of cards he had used to play with Wormwood. "You up to playing Wormy, I could always practice my card tricks again."
No sound came out of the raven's beak and Cedric decided that was a no. With that Cedric lay back against the desk and shuffled the cards in his hands. If the pet didn't want to play the sorcerer could always play by himself.
Minutes began to become hours as the dark-haired man played with the cards in as many ways he could think of. Before he knew the moon was beginning to rise in the night sky.
A familiar knock reached his ears as Cedric looked at the deck of cards. "Mr. Cedric." Sofia sang as she entered making the sorcerer look up.
A smirk spread across his face once he realized who entered. "Well, well, look who finally decided to pay me a visit," This made the girl giggle a bit at the statement. She couldn't stop smiling; it was good to see her mentor again even though it was only a few weeks since her last lesson.
No, I've missed my sister." Cedric said sarcastically and began to get up from his seat with the help from his apprentice.
"I'm sorry I've been gone a while, I actually came up for my lesson." For once in his life Cedric was surprised at these words.
"Well, I guess that will guess I can manage that." Cedric said smiling as he pulled out his spell book. It would seem that he was wrong! Princess Sofia was still going to have time with her favorite sorcerer and that was how Cedric the Sensational wanted it!
A/N: Yes short I know! Anyways, now that I've used up all my ideas I've decided to work on "Tournament Travels" again! I have been wanting to for some time. I will have to rewrite chapter four since it's not on the computer I'm using now. Please Review!
