Chapter One
POV: Lucy
I just can't take the pain. I can't bear to live it. She's my best friend, she couldn't have. She protected me.
Levy McGarden was the only friend I had. She kept me in pace, she kept me from bullies. If she isn't here for me..I won't survive High School.
What Happened That Day~
"Are you serious?" I said.
"Lucy..We'll always be together, bonded with our friendship." my blue-haired best friend said.
"But you're my best friend, Levy, we've been through everything!" I replied in sadness.
"Lucy, don't forget that i'm always with you." She gave me a yellow necklace in the shape of a heart, but in half and with a tiny key connected.
Levy showed me her necklace, already being worn. It was blue and had a tiny book connected. It was in the shape of a heart but in half.
We put our necklaces together as it formed a heart, Yellow and Blue.
It didn't match, but it was a signal of our friendship. That's why I need her here.
That Same Day
POV: Natsu
"Are you kidding me?!" I shouted at my cold-hearted but not really cold best friend Gray.
"No, Natsu. I'm moving away to America." Gray said, chill and calm.
"...I'll miss you, buddy." We hugged and Gray picked up his bags and got on the plane..and flew away from me.
"...Sayonara." We had whispered at the same time unintentionally. What a coincidence.
A Few Days Later
POV: Lucy
"..." I didn't speak as I looked in the mirror. The first day of school. Shoot. How am I going to survive without Levy? I asked myself.
"Lucy...Time for your Monday." I whispered to myself.
~School~
Of course. I sighed as I stared at the bruises on my legs and arms. I had been beaten up by Lisanna, the head cheerleader. It was always her who was the main bully. Her boyfriend was hesitant, though. He didn't speak a word. He seemed depressed. Like me.
I ate my bento box alone under the sakura tree.
I saw Lisanna's boyfriend over at the school doors, alone.
Where is Lisanna? I thought maybe he was waiting for her, but 10 minutes passed and nobody came. Now that I realize it, I never learned his name. Gee, of course, the nerd not even knowing who the popular guys are. The popular guys would never notice an ugly nerd girl like me.. But that guy is different-What am I thinking? He has a girlfriend. Ugh, baka.
POV: Author
It's dumb to think I can reach her.
LUCY!
Wow, not going to try. On with the story.
Natsu was still looking depressed as earlier. Lucy walked over after finishing her bento. "He-hello." She said shyly.
"Hello." Natsu said.
Utter silence went on.
"You are Lucy, right? I apologize for the beat-ups." Natsu apologized.
"Yeah. You must be uh...Natsu, I've heard?" Lucy asked, and Natsu nodded.
Did you know, reader, this was the start of a relationship?
A/N: Hey, everyone! This is my first fanfiction as xCookieKatzx and it's 1:30 AM now and I need to sleep. Gah. Sorry it's pretty short, I couldn't have enough time, I need sleep because I have a big audition tomorrow.
